Thanks for stopping by and reading what I have written.

For as long as I can remember, I have been writing. Today I write for a living, for and about business. I also write for, I want to say pleasure or leisure, but it’s not that simple. I write because, yes, it helps to pay the bills. But I also write to process my own history, my family’s history, the stories of my friends and acquaintances, and chance encounters. It forces me listen to what other people have to say, to attempt to understand the complexity of humans and human relationships, and of life. Sometimes writing is hard. But writing sustains me, and it keeps me sane. I am a writer and I count that as a privilege.
